Promo codes and gift certificates can be redeemed through both the Bluebikes App (for Single Rides or Day Passes) or at a kiosk. 

On the app

1. Open the Bluebikes app (available for both Android and iOS)
2. Sign in to your account 
3. Tap ‘Get a Pass’
4. Select a pass
5. Tap ‘Continue’
6. Tap ‘+ Add promo code’
7. Enter promo code and tap ‘Apply Promo Code’
8. Finish the payment screen
9. Enjoy your discounted ride!

Through the website (for Annual and Monthly memberships)*

1. Go to Bluebikes website
2. Tap ‘Join’
3. Select your membership type
4. Hit “Redeem a gift certificate”
5. Enter your personal information to the first page of the registration flow and then hit “Next”
6. Enter your billing information, and select “Purchase” 

*If you are already a member, you will have the option to add a promo code when you log in and renew.

At the kiosk 

1. Press the ‘Getting Started’ button on the kiosk screen
2. Insert your credit or debit card
3. Request the pass type
4. Select the number of passes needed
5. Agree to the terms and understanding of services
6. There will be an option for a ‘Discount Code’ on the summary page

Note: If your promo code covers a ride pass, you will not be charged at this time. Your payment method will only be used for rides that incur overage fees. Each code can only be redeemed for a single bike rental.
