We encourage all Bluebikes users to be mindful of their surroundings while they ride. If you have experienced a crash or collision on your Bluebikes bike and are injured, call 911 immediately. You should also call the police precinct where the crash took place and file a report with an officer to make sure that all important information is documented.
Within 24 hours of the incident, you must also notify Bluebikes of the facts of the crash by contacting Bluebikes customer service or calling customer support at 1 (855) 948-2929, now supported by Lyft. We will provide you with a Bluebikes Crash Report form to fill out. The bike remains your responsibility until it has been properly locked at a dock or handed over to a Bluebikes representative.
If you aren’t able to dock the bike, please be sure to let our team know by calling immediately.
