Bluebikes requires all riders to keep an active credit or debit card on file in case any extra time charges are incurred. For example, if you keep a bike out for longer than the time allowed in your pass or membership, or if you lose the bike. 

If you need to update your credit or debit card, or billing address information, go to the 'Billing Information' section of your Bluebikes account.

Shared Payment Method for Teen Accounts

Riders ages 16 and 17 with a Teen Account can take bikeshare rides. Riders under 16 can't ride yet.

Teens pay with their family's Shared Payment Method. This is the only payment method a Teen can use, and they can't add a different one.

The parent or guardian on the account sees these charges.
